EXTENTION TO CABIN
SIRDAL, NORWAY

We want to create the feel of a “Norwegian” hamlet, where the common area in the middle creates contact between the several private rooms. Each private room becomes a separate little house in the yard with direct entrance from the common area. Contrary to the wide and open surrounding landscape, each of the rooms are intimate and proportional to the human body in their dimensions with a unique identity within the most traditional form of a house.
